More than 200 residents gained improved access to healthcare through an initiative organized by Argon Group through Argon Peduli, which took place on Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Ngabeyan Village, Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java.
In partnership with Dharma Dexa and Indonesian Red Cross of Surakarta, Argon Peduli conducted a social activation that included free medical treatment and health examinations such as blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, uric acid checks, as well as health consultations with doctors.
Mr. Tarcisius Tanto Randy, Corporate Affairs Director of Dexa Group; Mr. Mochamad Choirudin, Solo Branch Head of AAM; Mr. Mateus Ramidi and Mr. Bangun Mugihantoro, Managers of Dharma Dexa; along with the Argon Peduli team, were present at the event.
During his speech, Mr. Tarcisius explained that these social service activities are part of a routine agenda aimed at providing benefits and making an impact on health promotion in Indonesia. "Through community-based social service activities, we aim to support President Joko Widodo's efforts in promoting public health. We are also involved in collaborative initiatives with BKKBN and the Indonesian Midwives Association, focusing on education and interventions related to stunting," Mr. Tarcisius stated.
This social service initiative was warmly appreciated by the enthusiastic local community. Residents acknowledged that free medical treatment is rarely available in their surroundings. "This is a wonderful initiative, and we are very enthusiastic because such medical treatments are not often held here. Therefore, the community expresses gratitude towards Argon Peduli," expressed Mr. Joko, a representative of Ngabeyan Village residents.
