Argon Peduli Empowers School Health Program Teachers to Improve Student Health


The School Health Program (UKS) is an educational initiative aimed at instilling, fostering, developing, and enhancing healthy living skills through the implementation of clean and healthy living behaviors.


This initiative is carried out through the Trias UKS, which encompasses health education; health services; and the cultivation of a healthy school environment. To optimize UKS, the role of UKS teachers is essential in implementing and developing the program within their respective schools.


PT Medela Potentia and its subsidiaries through Argon Peduli, support UKS teachers in the Bekasi Regency area to effectively run the UKS program by enhancing their knowledge, information, and best practices in managing UKS to improve student health.


Argon Peduli in collaboration with Community Health Center Cibatu, provided training to dozens of UKS teachers during the “Educational Activity on Utilizing the School Health Program to Enhance Teacher Roles in Student Health” on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java.


Attendees included the Head of the Family Health and Nutrition Team from the Bekasi Regency Health Office, Mrs. Hj. Milik Sapiah, S.ST., M.Kes.; the Head of South Cikarang Sub-District, Mr. H. Muhammad Said, S.E., M.Si.; Head of Administration at Community Health Center Cibatu, Mrs. Ernita Heryanti, SKM, M.Si.; National Distribution Center Associate Manager PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) Mr. Hazbil, and representatives from Argon Peduli.



“Through Argon Peduli, we are committed to supporting this initiative by collaborating with  Cibatu to provide the necessary resources and support. We believe that by empowering UKS teachers with training and the latest health information, we can create a program that has a significant positive impact on students, the future generation,” explained Mr. Hazbil.


During this educational session, dozens of teachers were provided with material on current children's health issues and conditions, the importance of the UKS role, essential programs to be implemented, and shared experiences from other UKS teachers on best practices that can be applied in their respective schools.


"This activity is conducted by Community Health Center Cibatu in collaboration with the company to improve the health of schools, teachers, and enhance student intelligence," said Mr. Muhammad Said.
