The holy month of Ramadan serves as a meaningful momentum to strengthen social care while delivering tangible benefits to the community. PT Medela Potentia Tbk and its subsidiaries, through Argon Peduli, continue to drive various social initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of communities, including support for education and literacy at the grassroots level.

This commitment is reflected in the series of Argon Peduli Gema Ramadan 2025 programs, which this year carry the theme “Sustainable Blessings.” The theme underscores the Company’s efforts to implement social initiatives that not only provide immediate assistance but also create lasting positive impact for society.
As part of this program series, Argon Peduli, in collaboration with Dharma Dexa, organized an iftar gathering along with the distribution of book donations, necessities, and vitamins at Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) Lentera Pustaka, located in Kampung Warung Loa, Sukaluyu Village, Tamansari District, Bogor Regency, on Friday, March 13, 2025.
The activity was attended by orphans, the elderly, and widows who are part of the community fostered by TBM Lentera Pustaka. Also present at the event were the Daily Chairperson of TBM Lentera Pustaka, Mrs. Susilawati; Head of AAM Bogor Branch, Mr. Leonardus Hanung Purwo Putranto; Dharma Dexa Manager, Mr. Mateus Ramidi; as well as Argon Peduli volunteers.
On this occasion, Argon Peduli and Dharma Dexa distributed book donations as a form of support for enhancing children’s literacy in the surrounding community. The donations are expected to serve as learning resources that broaden knowledge and inspire a stronger motivation among the younger generation to pursue education.
TBM Lentera Pustaka has been a center for community literacy activities since its establishment in 2017. Through various educational programs and reading initiatives, the community library plays a vital role in fostering reading interest and supporting efforts to reduce illiteracy, particularly among women.
“In this area, around 81 percent of the community’s education level is limited to elementary school. School dropout rates and early marriage are also still relatively high. We hope that access to books will help expand knowledge and encourage children to develop a greater aspiration to continue their education,” said Mrs. Susi.
Currently, TBM Lentera Pustaka has approximately 140 active young readers who regularly participate in literacy activities. In addition to serving as a learning space for children, the community library also runs social development programs for fostered orphans, the elderly, and widows in the surrounding area.
The Head of AAM Bogor Branch stated that through the “Sustainable Blessings” theme, the Company aims to use the Ramadan momentum as an opportunity to strengthen social engagement while fostering closer relationships with the community.
“The Company believes that education and literacy are essential foundations for building a better future. Therefore, through various social initiatives carried out sustainably, we hope that every contribution made will deliver meaningful and tangible benefits to society,” concluded Mr. Leo.
