The holding company of PT Anugrah Argon Medica, PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) has been honored with the IDX Channel Anugerah ESG Award 2025 in the main category for the healthcare sector, recognizing its strong commitment and implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles across its operations.
The award was presented by IDX Channel CEO, Mr. Syafril Nasution, to Mrs. Nancy Kartika, Human Resources & Sustainability Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, during a ceremony held at the Main Hall of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Jakarta, on Friday, July 4, 2025.
This recognition highlights the company’s real commitment to ESG, notably through its subsidiary, PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), which has pioneered the use of electric vehicles to support greener distribution.
Also in attendance at the event was Mr. Endang Sukandar, Logistic Operation Manager of PT Anugrah Argon Medica.
As one of the pioneers in adopting electric motorcycles for healthcare product distribution, the company had deployed 106 electric vehicles across 15 branches in 13 major cities in Indonesia by mid-2025. This effort is part of its broader decarbonization roadmap and energy efficiency strategy in logistics, representing a tangible commitment to operational sustainability.

This initiative supports the company's decarbonization strategy and its mission to create a more efficient and environmentally friendly pharmaceutical and medical device distribution system. The adoption of electric vehicles has directly contributed to reducing carbon emissions and fuel consumption in logistics operations.
In 2024, PT Medela Potentia Tbk recorded a 5% reduction in carbon emissions and a 30% year-on-year decrease in fuel consumption by its operational fleet.
"Through our ESG initiatives, we aim to be a healthcare industry player that excels not only in service, but also contributes positively to the environment and society. Our electric fleet is one concrete example of our environmental commitment. However, ESG for us goes far beyond that—it encompasses social responsibility, governance enhancement, and building a business that’s resilient to long-term challenges,” said Nancy Kartika.
The IDX Channel ESG Award 2025, themed “Navigating ESG in Global Economic Uncertainty,” is dedicated to companies in Indonesia committed to sustainable business practices. The evaluation was based on four core criteria: environment, social, governance, and innovation in sustainable finance.
“The IDX Channel ESG Award 2025 is a form of appreciation for companies that have implemented ESG programs. We hope this will inspire and encourage other companies to do the same,” said Mr. Syafril Nasution.

Sustainability and Community Engagement Program
PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) places sustainability at the core of its business strategy. President Director Mr. Krestijanto Pandji emphasized that the company adopts a comprehensive ESG approach by integrating internal systems, enhancing human resource capabilities, and embedding ESG policies into daily operations.
One of the key initiatives is the electrification of AAM’s operational fleet. MDLA is targeting a 50% conversion to electric vehicles and a 10% improvement in logistics efficiency in the medium term, while aiming to achieve net-zero emissions for Scope 1 & 2 by 2050. These targets are supported by ESG training programs, employee incentives, and partnerships with research institutions.
MDLA also strives to make ESG a collective movement. Local communities are engaged through training programs for electric vehicle drivers, and partnerships with local workshops and dealerships help strengthen the green transportation infrastructure. This program not only supports local economic development but also raises public awareness of sustainable practices in everyday life.
The company has introduced an Eco Delivery service to provide environmentally friendly direct-to-consumer delivery. In addition, PT Medela Potentia Tbk has partnered with an energy consultancy to conduct independent carbon emissions audits across its operations.
“This collaborative approach not only broadens the impact of our initiatives but also builds trust among communities and stakeholders—positioning them as strategic partners in advancing clean technologies and fostering a sustainable ESG ecosystem,” said Krestijanto Pandji.
