Medela Potentia has been honored with the Investor Daily Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) Award in the ESG Recognized Commitment category for 2023, recognizing its strong commitment and tangible contributions to ESG initiatives. The company has demonstrated the ability to integrate and sustainably implement these initiatives within its business operations.
Investor Daily ESG Appreciation Award for 2024 was presented by Editor-in-Chief of beritasatu.com Mr. Syukri Rahmatullah, and Commercial Director of B-Universe  Mrs. Melly Marlian. The award was directly received by Human Resources Director of the Medela Potentia Mrs. Nancy Kartika during Investor Daily ESG Appreciation Night on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta.
Distinguished guests at the award ceremony included Mr. Enggartiasto Lukita, the Chairman of B-Universe; Mr. Inarno Djajadi, the Executive Head of Capital Market Supervision, Derivative Finance, and Carbon Exchange of the Financial Services Authority (OJK); Mr. Meyer Siburian, the Director of Business Implementation Cooperation at the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM); Mr. Jerry Marmen, the Chairman of the GRC Professional Certification Institute, and independent jury members, Dr. Uun Sunarsih and Dr. Erna Lovita.
ESG Recognized Commitment Award for 2023 from Investor Daily reflects the tangible actions of the Medela Potentia as the parent company of pharmaceutical and medical device product distribution and marketing, medical device manufacturing, and an environmentally friendly digital health ecosystem.

Medela Potentia and its subsidiaries acknowledges the significant environmental impact of its pharmaceutical and medical device distribution services, emphasizing the need for efforts to preserve the environment by minimizing negative impacts. One of these efforts is through PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), which initiated environmentally friendly business operations in 2022 by converting its distribution fleet from fuel-based vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs) in the pharmaceutical and medical device distribution process.
"We started the fleet electrification pilot project in December 2022. ESG principles have become part of the company's journey towards sustainability. We aim to make a positive contribution to society and the environment by adopting environmentally friendly business operations," said Mrs. Nancy Kartika

The use of electric vehicles has been implemented in three branches Jakarta, Bogor, and Surabaya, and successfully reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 3.8 tons of CO2e. In 2024, AAM aims to expand the electrification of its distribution fleet to eight cities with 70 vehicles. With this initiative, AAM targets a reduction of 33 tons of CO2e in greenhouse gas emissions.
The company also highlights environmental management as a crucial aspect in all operational activities and has obtained environmental approval and compliance with environmental requirements.
"In our environmental aspect management, we are committed to meeting applicable environmental regulations and requirements, making them our primary foundation. We also support carbon emissions reduction and the Net Zero Emission Indonesia target by 2060 or sooner," stated President Director Medela Potentia Mr. Krestijanto Pandji.
