PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), a subsidiary of PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA), has officially broken ground on a new facility in Medan, North Sumatra. This strategic development aims to strengthen the companyās distribution network in the northern part of Sumatra, responding to the growing demand for healthcare products in the region.
The facility, designed to house both office and warehouse operations, will stand on approximately 10,000 m² of land with a total building area of around 6,500 m². Once completed, it will significantly expand AAMās storage capacity, accommodating a larger volume of medicines and healthcare products, particularly amid rising demand in North Sumatra.
The warehouse will be built to meet stringent storage standards, featuring Cold Rooms (2°ā8°C), Cool Rooms (15°ā25°C), and Ambient Rooms (<30°C), all supported by a 24-hour temperature monitoring system to safeguard product quality until delivery to customers.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Friday, August 8, 2025, attended by President Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, Mr. Krestijanto Pandji; Operations Director of PT Anugrah Argon Medica, Mr.Ā Setyawan Pantja Juwono; Supply Chain & System Director of PT Anugrah Argon Medica, Mr. Stephen F. Kusumo; Head of AAM Medan Branch, Mrs. Endratri Retno Kiswati; as well as members of AAMās management, principal partners, and community representatives.
According to Mr. Krestijanto, this project reflects MDLAās strong commitment to strengthening the nationās healthcare distribution infrastructure.
āWe are committed to delivering the best possible service to our customers, ensuring that every medicine we distribute maintains its quality, efficacy, and authenticity right up to the patient. The construction of the new AAM Medan branch will elevate our service standards and improve access to medicines, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes in North Sumatra and surrounding areas,ā said Mr. Krestijanto.

Mr. Setyawan added that Medanās strategic position as Sumatraās primary logistics gateway was a key driver for the project.
āWith greater storage capacity, we can increase our medicine stock levels and expand distribution coverage across North Sumatra. This warehouse will serve as a new distribution hub that strengthens our service reach,ā he explained.
The facility is targeted for completion in the third quarter of 2026, serving as a strategic hub that will enhance AAMās competitiveness while contributing to the advancement of Indonesiaās pharmaceutical and medical device distribution industry.
