PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) is entering a new phase of operational decarbonization through the launch of its first electric vehicle fleet. This initiative marks a shift in distribution approach—from conventional logistics efficiency toward a more sustainable, low-emission operating system.
This decarbonization effort forms part of the company’s strategic response to the evolving distribution industry landscape, which increasingly demands operational efficiency, resilience against energy cost pressures, and the integration of sustainability principles into business models.
The launch took place at AAM Jakarta 2 Branch Office on Saturday, April 11, 2025, marked by a symbolic handover of the fleet from the HR & Sustainability Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA), Ms. Nancy Kartika, to the Head of AAM Jakarta 2 Branch, Mr. Ohio Friendzie, and was witnessed by AAM Director, Mr. Budi Lim, along with the company’s management team.
President Director of PT Anugrah Argon Medica, Ms. Juliwaty, emphasized that this initiative is part of the company’s long-term transformation in building a more adaptive, efficient, and sustainable distribution system.
“The adoption of electric vehicles not only enhances operational efficiency, but also strengthens our readiness to deliver fast, accurate, and reliable distribution services amid evolving market demands. This is part of our broader effort to integrate innovation across our operations,” she stated.

This transformation is being implemented in a gradual and integrated manner. As of 2025, AAM has operated 106 electric motorcycles across 15 branches in 13 cities. The expansion into four-wheeled electric vehicles represents the next step in strengthening an energy-efficient distribution system while broadening the impact of low-emission operations.
To support this system, AAM continues to enhance operational readiness through route optimization, supporting infrastructure development, and strengthening human capital capabilities. These initiatives are designed as an integrated system that drives efficiency while maintaining service quality.
As part of its sustainable operational practices, the company has also implemented Eco-Driving training programs for drivers and operational teams to improve safety, energy efficiency, and consistency in responsible distribution practices.
AAM Director, Mr. Budi Lim, added that the company remains committed to balancing business growth with environmental responsibility as part of its long-term strategy.
“Moving forward, we will continue to develop operational innovations that not only drive business performance, but also contribute meaningfully to environmental sustainability,” he said.

Meanwhile, HR & Sustainability Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA), Ms. Nancy Kartika, stated that AAM’s initiative aligns with the company’s strategic direction in integrating sustainability principles across all business lines.
In 2025, PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) recorded a 20 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions from its baseline, as part of its commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices.
Going forward, AAM will continue to expand its operational decarbonization initiatives as part of strengthening a more efficient, adaptive, and sustainable distribution system, while reinforcing its role in advancing responsible distribution practices within the healthcare ecosystem.
