AAM’s Commitment to Sustainability at Jababeka Ecoweek 2024

PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), through its Argon Peduli initiative, reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability by taking an active role in the Jababeka Ecoweek 2024. The event, held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Bahagia Beach, Muaragembong, Bekasi Regency, West Java, saw the participation of 18 companies from the Jababeka Industrial Estate in a large-scale mangrove planting effort, with 50,000 trees planted.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Mrs. Vega Violetta, Director of Jababeka Infrastructure; Mr. Iding Supriatna, Head of Forestry Branch Office Region I, West Java Province; Mr. Suyatno, National Distribution Center Manager at AAM; along with representatives from Argon Peduli and the Muaragembong community.

With this collaborative mangrove planting initiative, AAM, which operates its National Distribution Center (NDC) within the Jababeka Industrial Estate, aims to contribute meaningfully to climate change mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and the enhancement of coastal community livelihoods.

“This initiative is part of AAM's broader commitment to promoting environmental stewardship, advancing green energy solutions, and ensuring eco-friendly operational practices that will benefit future generations,” stated Mrs. Juliwaty, President Director of AAM.

Through its proactive engagement, AAM also aligns with Jababeka Industrial Estate’s strategic objective of achieving net zero emissions by 2050. Mrs. Vega Violetta, Director of Jababeka Infrastructure, extended her gratitude to the companies contributing to this ambitious sustainability goal.

“We appreciate the participation of the 18 companies in Ecoweek 2024, including PT Anugrah Argon Medica,” remarked Mrs. Vega.

Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Iding Supriatna praised the companies’ dedication to supporting government efforts through corporate social and environmental responsibility initiatives.

“This initiative clearly exemplifies the corporate sector’s commitment to fulfilling its social and environmental responsibilities. Environmental sustainability is a collective responsibility that extends beyond government action,” Mr. Iding emphasized.
