The latest innovation from GPOS through the enhanced digital purchase order feature in the GPOS B2B application now allows pharmacies to order precursor products without printing or handing over a physical document to couriers.

This update streamlines the procurement process, making it faster, more practical, and fully recorded within a digital system.

This implementation aligns with the Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM) Regulation No. 24/2021 on the Management of Medicines, Drug Substances, Narcotics, Psychotropics, and Pharmaceutical Precursors in Pharmacy Service Facilities, as well as BPOM Regulation No. 20/2025 on Good Distribution Practice (CDOB) Standards.

“We highly appreciate BPOM’s support in facilitating discussions and providing guidance, enabling the full implementation of the Digital SP feature. All policies and distribution processes we run adhere to the principles of Good Distribution Practices. The Digital SP workflow in GPOS B2B is fully compliant with BPOM regulations, ensuring that precursor orders remain safe, compliant, and more convenient for pharmacies,” said Mr. Henry Ongkojoyo, Head of GPOS.

GPOS B2B Paperless Precursor Ordering Flow (According to the Latest Regulations)

  1. Order Placement: Pharmacies select precursor products and proceed to checkout using Digital SP in GPOS B2B.

  2. SP Issuance: The Digital SP is automatically sent to GPOS.ID for validation.

  3. APJ Validation: The Responsible Pharmacist (APJ) approves the SP directly through the application.

  4. AAM Processing: Once approved, the order is forwarded to AAM for processing.

  5. Delivery: Orders are delivered to the pharmacy without any physical SP documents; all activities are recorded digitally.

This enhancement reinforces GPOS’s commitment to strengthening a modern, efficient, and compliant pharmaceutical distribution ecosystem. The full digitalization of SP documentation is expected to improve order accuracy, accelerate distribution workflows, and support pharmacy operations nationwide.

Previously, although Digital SPs were already in use, pharmacies were still required to print and submit physical documents upon delivery. With this update, all such steps have been removed, as validation and approvals are now completed entirely through the digital system.langkan karena validasi dan persetujuan dilakukan sepenuhnya melalui sistem digital.
