Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM) has continued to build end-to-end competencies for providing various safe health products to consumers. AAM ensures the secure storage and delivery of these products through supply chain management systems that meet national and international standards.

The pivotal role of Supply Chain Management was underscored during an Expert Lecture session organized by the Medela Potentia HR team for hundreds of students at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Surabaya (UBAYA) on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in Surabaya.

As a speaker, Mr. Rommy Firaldi, Head of Supply Chain at AAM, delivered a presentation. The lecture was also attended by Dr. apt. Krisyanti Budipramana S.Farm., M.Farm., a lecturer at UBAYA's Faculty of Pharmacy, and apt. Vendra Setiawan, M.Farm.

In his presentation, Mr. Rommy emphasized the importance of a robust Supply Chain Management system to ensure proper access to pharmaceutical products and medical devices. Good Supply Chain Management is also essential to guarantee access to affordable medicines for all Indonesians.

"To maintain the quality, efficacy, and safety of medicines and medical devices, the pharmaceutical industry strictly follows rules and supervision by BPOM (Indonesia FDA). AAM's distribution is certified with Good Storage & Distribution Practice (GSDP) by WHO and holds a Halal certification from LPOM MUI," explained Mr. Rommy.

The Expert Lecture is an initiative by the Medela Potentia to enhance collaboration between the industry and educational institutions, enriching students' knowledge and competence. Besides activities at UBAYA, the Medela Potentia has also conducted knowledge-sharing sessions at various universities across Indonesia.

"Cooperation between the pharmaceutical industry and universities serves as a vital bridge, merging academic knowledge with practical applications for developing innovative health solutions," emphasized Medela Potentia HR Director, Mrs. Nancy Kartika.

Additionally, UBAYA students have the opportunity to explore career prospects at Medela Potentia through the Supervisory Development Program and Officer Development Program, both of which will reopen in 2024.
