Digital transformation in the pharmaceutical sector is not only about improving efficiency but also about how technology can strengthen supply chains and ensure the availability of medicines for the community. PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), takes a concrete role in this agenda by introducing artificial intelligence (AI)-based digital solutions through the GPOS ecosystem during the webinar “Utilizing Artificial Intelligence and Data Science for Healthcare Transformation in Indonesia” held on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
The event was organized by the Education and Training Agency (Badiklat) of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) in collaboration with the Pharmacy Education and Competency Development Unit of Universitas Islam Indonesia (PHEDU UII). AAM presented Karel Andika Winarso, Marketing & Content Lead of Digital Transformation GPOS, as one of the keynote speakers.
In his presentation titled “Utilization of AI in Healthcare Facilities for Pharmaceutical Supply Management”, Karel highlighted how digitalization enhances efficiency and accuracy in pharmacy management. Through two flagship digital solutions—GPOS Lite and GPOS B2B—AAM delivers integrated operational management and pharmaceutical procurement systems that accelerate digital transformation, aligned with the vision of the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) of Indonesia’s Ministry of Health.
“With integrated digital systems such as GPOS Lite and GPOS B2B, pharmacy operations become more efficient and support innovation in national healthcare services. This implementation must, of course, align with regulations, such as BPOM Regulation No. 20 of 2025 on Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards,” Karel explained.

He further emphasized that applying AI-based forecasting using comprehensive data can help pharmacies improve stock management accuracy, prevent shortages or overstocking, and strengthen the national pharmaceutical supply chain. This approach, according to Karel, represents a concrete step toward ensuring a more equitable and sustainable availability of medicines.
In addition to Karel Andika Winarso, the webinar also featured prominent speakers from the healthcare and academic sectors, including Dr. M. Lutfan Lazuardi, M.Kes, PhD, from the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada; and Prof. Dr. Che. Suraya Bt. Hj. Mohd. Zin from the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
Attended by around 700 participants—including healthcare professionals, pharmacy students, researchers, and health-tech practitioners—the event provided valuable insights into the role of AI and data science in advancing healthcare services in Indonesia.
AAM’s participation reaffirms the company’s commitment to being a strategic partner in building a national healthcare ecosystem that is adaptive, intelligent, and globally competitive—aligned with PT Medela Potentia Tbk’s mission to deliver sustainable solutions that advance healthcare services in Indonesia.
